Major conned. If it's a mix, it's not a breed.

how on earth do we allow you to recognize with no photo? in case you got it from a puppy keep then that is likely from a doggy mill. For all you recognize it will be a mutt that feels like Cocker Spaniel. doggy turbines commonly forge Kennel club Papers. in case you needed a Purebred, nicely bred dogs then you actually must have went to a respected breeder and not in any respect some slimeball doggy mill storefront.

Oh, that's a shame. She was conned. A mix of two breeds of dogs is always a mutt and cannot be registered except with one of those bogus registries that puppymills use to scam people by claiming their dogs have "papers".
She paid $300.00 for a mutt that she probably could have found at the shelter.

This dog certainly isn't registered with the American Kennel Club, unless it was misrepresented by the seller to the AKC. There are independent registries, but they exist as an effort for puppy mills and breeders of "designer dogs" to get past the stringent oversight of the AKC and, yes, con the public.

She was conned but lots of smart people have been conned lately by people breeding mixes and calling them Designer Breeds. It's very unethical for many reasons, but people will do whatever they can think of to make money.

The price is decent and that mix is pretty well behaved. The only thing she'll have to pay extra attention to is the dog's ears. Because they hang down they are prone to infection. She will need to clean them at least once a week with a cotton swab and water. There are also special ear cleaning solutions and powders on the market.

She sure was! She could have found the same mix at a shelter, have paid far less, and saved a life.

Wow. Shame on the backyard breeder who told your friend that in trying to make a buck, but also shame on your friend for not being better informed before choosing a pet.

Registered as a what? It sounds to me like she was snookered if she was looking for a purebred dog, but if a mix was what she wanted, then it's okay.
