I'm looking for a miraculous recovery of my ability to swing a club w/o hooking the darn ball, and perhaps a golfing buddy of mine not hitting any more trees, thereby offending no more squirrels.

I've asked several of the praying participants to keep me informed of the success, I have yet to hear anything from anyone
I even asked for some statistics for previous years, still waiting on that too

Maybe. If there were, you still wouldn't believe in the power of prayer. You'd continue to dismiss it as "random chance" or some other mundane explanation.
