Your question should be "How does God punish those who worship a man they have made into a god?"

What if The Chosen Son was the One rejected by God because He did not really accomplish what was asked of him to do?
Read Isaiah 14:9-20 very carefully. See who is Lucifer (Morning Star), see who wants "Ascend to heaven and raise his throne above the stars of God, sit enthroned at on the mount of the assembly and who like to make himself like the most high."
Read Matthew 26:64 &Mark 14:62 Where did Jesus say he will be?
Read Revelation 22:16 Who claims to be the Morning Star?
Read Psalm 69 fully and and find for yourself who is the man being predicted here..Psalm 69:5-6..who says Jesus is sinless? and who knows his mistakes? Psalm 69: 12 why is he the song of the drunkards? then Look at Matthew 10:18-19 and find out how Jesus was known to the writer. Psalm 69:21What did the people do to quench his thirst? In Luke 23:36 & John 19:28-29
Read also Psalm 22 and 38 these were prophesies about him. What he said on the cross was not a
script as if he really is following the words written in the book of Psalms (as what the teachers of the book are telling us) but it was purely what was seen he will say.
To be chosen is not to be favored or given special privilege. It is not an office or authority, it is more of a duty. Just as the children of Israel were chosen to be the bearer of Monotheistic belief in God and they were never free from the curse of God if they do things the wrong way. Their rejection of Jesus was also the rejection of God on Jesus. Vox populi Vox Dei.The voice of the people is the voice of God.

Choose people that do accept his son. according to the Bible, because the chosen people did not accept The Word Of God, The Word Of God was available to the Gentiles which was basically everybody else that was not Chosen.

He will say "I never knew you" The Jews are not Gods chosen people. They may have been long ago, but God has extened His love and mercy to the whole world. All those who love and follow Him are His chosen people not just the Jews.

Meaningless... you seem to take the bible very seriously but it is very convinient for you to say it is meningless when it comes to that one line....also how do we know there is a heaven or hell... God accepts all people and respects their beleifs even if they do not think Jesus was the savior.

God will make judgment on His own people. He said He would come again so that they would believe. Maybe it's to only that group who He will appear to. Sure they will go to heaven, they believe in God.

It only goes to show something simple, really. People never were able to do anything He asked them to, no matter how nice He was to them.

He always knew this. Something about them knowing it was Him does it. That's why He moves unannounced and anonymously through the creation. Its more fun to simply enjoy the place and be a part of the crowd. Just as they are.-Getting Smarter yet?

I recommend that you read Romans 9. That and other parts of Paul's writings being the whole subject to light:
31But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.

32Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;

33As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

It was actually prophecied to the people who called themselves God's people centuries earlier. Amongst other verses there are these:
Isaiah 53:1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?

Deuteronomy 32:21
They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.

The Gentiles were that nation. And the word of God that the Christians bring are constantly challenging those Jews who reject the Christ. But Paul himself was a Jew. So God does what he has always done, he keeps a remnant within his people.
1 Kings 19:18
Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him.

And Paul relates that story in the New Testament:
Romans 11:3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.

4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.

5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

So God wants certain people, draws them in, and brings them up according to his will. If you are one of those, then rejoice, because God chose you amongst the world.

I'm sure that it saddens him. The bible said you needed to accept Jesus Christ as your lord and savior to be allowed and welcomed into heaven. I'm sure those rules apply to everyone. God Bless

God's covenant with Israel in the Old Testament was conditional, "IF they keep my commandments...". In the New Testament, the covenant is again conditional, "Whoever believes and is baptized shall be saved."

Being God's chosen people simply meant that they had been singled out to be shown favor, not that they had been given carte blanche permission to do as they chose.

a good number of questions approximately Jews....why do you care lots? and you may not convince all of us of something once you tell them they ought to repent, blah, blah, blah... base line: i've got faith you're incorrect and you suspect i'm incorrect. i will make a prediction precise now that no be counted how a lot of those questions you ask, no longer one Jew would be confident. you should be a huge sadness to Jesus considering you're so undesirable at this.
