Last night I dreamed that I was in this church service praying for the baptism of the Holy Spirit. This old lady came up and laid hands on my 4 month old son, and he began speaking in tongues. The only word I could pick out and remember was the word "hielo," which I think is Spanish for ice. What could this possibly mean?

Sometimes dreams are just your mind's way of cleaning out the refuse of the day.

I had a dream where Jesus was explaining to me how we both could meet Ariel, the little mermaid, so I have no idea what it REALLY means

Job 38:29 From whose womb comes the ice?
Who gives birth to the frost from the heavens

30 when the waters become hard as stone,
when the surface of the deep is frozen?

31 "Can you bind the beautiful Pleiades?
Can you loose the cords of Orion?

Okay, this is just a guess. Your kid will know God. He will become a leader. And he will be one tough dude, having knowledge and the tenacity to carry out God's plan.

According to the activation-synthesis theory of dreams, the dream probably has no meaning at all. (Sorry, that may not be what you wanted to hear.)

Although dreams are influenced by our thoughts throughout the course of the day, this does not mean they are special messages to us that we should carefully consider.

Here's one perspective:

"Activation Synthesis Theory is a neurobiological theory of dreams, put forward by James Allan Hobson and Robert McCarley in 1977, which states that dreams are a random event caused by firing of neurons in the brain. This random firing sends signals to the body's motor systems, but because of a paralysis that occurs during REM sleep, the brain is faced with a paradox. It synthesizes a narrative by drawing on memory systems in an attempt to make sense of what it has experienced."

it might mean that there´s something new waiting for you out there and that you need to keep the faith in the job you are doing so far. I might say that this warns you about a future that might involve a decision even if having a family and settle down or move out of the state. In any case i think you have to be very cold feet.

Only you can really interpret your dreams. Just remember, sometimes a dream is just a dream and means nothing. Sometimes it doesn't. Look through the last few days and see if the dream came from something you saw or heard. :)

It means that you have been thinking about getting you son baptised maybe last night before you went to bed but you have been thinking about it. A dream is nothing more than thoughts your mind goes though.

It probably has something to do with whatever was on your mind before you fell asleep. Or perhaps you are stressed about something and taking this into your dreams with you.

It means you've been thinking about religion and your son. And possibly ice.
