Go pop some LSD tabs, and tell me you believe what you see.
I'd hedge that between a quarter to a half of all spiritual encounters have been under the influence of some kind of drug.
I'd also suggest that the remaining half were brought on by stress, tiredness, or if you just believe that you see something, you see it.
I'd bet that most of these encounters were from people who are of a spiritual nature and that non-spiritual athiests only counted for a very few of these incendences.
Besides its a moot point because a soul or spirit does not imply the existence of God.

can you give me some of this evidence - you see most of that passes for spiritual experiences are later shown to be something else or that which cannot be explained. The parallel is that of UFOs. There is no doubt that UFOs exist. They are flying objects which cannot be identified. However it is a massive leap to say they come from other planets.
The leap from events 'explained' as spiritual to the existence of the Christian God is massive.

Your reasoning is specious at best. Your millions and millions of cases are not "evidence" as you suggest, but interpretations of natural phenomenon from the viewpoint of someone who cannot understand them and seeks to calm his internal fear of the unknown with a security blanket of a higher, wiser, guardian power who makes everything make sense.
I am NOT an athiest, but your "argument", bullying off-hand slight, and ridiculous conclusion are certainly not going to convert anyone that has eyes to see and ears to hear.
You can't teach faith. You either have it, or you don't. There is no proof here. Only faith.

I have never seen a case that has been attributed to the supernatural that can not be proven to be a perfectly natural worldly occurrence, a trick, or in the head of the "witness". Never.
And you attempting to insult those who disagree with you by pre-empting their response with "you must be really ignorant" (if you disagree with me) is a typical trick that believers use when presenting an argument. It doesn't make your argument any more valid, and we see through it.

Calm down... you are entitled to your opinion Atheists are entitled to theirs... ok so you say there is evidence of God and call Atheist ignorant for not beleiving....what if someone called you ignorant for your beleifs...I am sure you wouldn't be happy... think about how you make others feel before you say such statements... remember Atheists are people too and have just as many feelings as you.

I could say the same thing about christians and evolution. so don't give us this crap. I don't see any real evidence of a spiritual world. Just because someone says they had a spiritual experience doesn't explain that there is a god or a spirit realm.

That's funny. No one's ever produced any of this evidence you claim. Tell you what. Take it to a scientist and get it written up in Nature. No? Oh yeah, you were just lying. That's right.

I would say if you have lost hope and loved ones around you that care about....and you are left to yourself in an unstable environment that would be the only way to believe there is no God.
But, with love around you and friends and family you can see Gods love thru everyone you know.
