1) High blood pressure, or
2) Rocesca (These were mentioned.) and
3) The allergy may be from what is in the beer. What are you drinking? Budweiser is made from wheat.
Busch is made from rice.
I knew a woman who was allergic to rice. She found out when she was having a horrible reaction to Busch beer. She switched to Budweiser and now she's a clear faced drunk.

well i believe because you are not used to drink that much. Also, you need to have in mind that alcohol is a drug as a result i would produce a type reaction in your body. For instance, if a person drinks a lot he or she can damage some cells of their brain. Alcohol and many other drugs would cause this hot and burning break out. It can be dangerous because also you might have some kind other reaction when you drink alcohol. Go to a doctor for a better answer.

That sounds exactly like the side effects of those suffering from roseacea which is a facial disease. The disease is not curable but is preventable. Roseacea is when you look like you got a sun kissed face or sunburn as your cheeks and nose area are bright red and sometimes you can see spider veins showing. It is prominent in fair skinned people and alcohol is one of the triggers.

I know when I drink certain alcoholic beverages, I turn beet red and I break out too. Extreme heat and cold effect outbreaks too. It is preventable with topical ointments.

Check with your doctor.

Sounds like alcohol poisoning, I've had that before, after drinking constantly for days, my face was so red and hot, water does help to stop it and eating spicy food will stop it.

typically when you drink, your blood pressure changes and that's why when people drink enough alcohol, they have a red face. otherwise i'm not sure why you're breaking out. if it's a rash or hives then you're experiencing an allergic reaction...something i would seriously suggest talking to your doctor about!

I don't think it is an allergic reaction, I used to get this in college when we would binge for a few days. I still drink once in a while and it has not happened for years.

If you get bright red when you drink, your body is telling you not to. It could be allergies, high blood pressure, or a whole lot od other things. Don't drink and tell your doctor what's going on.

Your not saying what you drink. If it's Wine it could be a reaction to the nItrites. If its alcohol like Vodka it could be a reaction to the alcohol itself. I've had similiar troubles but it really hasn't affected my overall health. I am very healthy.

actually it depends mainly..when you are taking alcohol...how you are taking....and the quantity. alcohol used to be react very vigrously when is taken before your food (if in good quantity) if we left the wine n Bear..others which have approx 40-42% alcohol used be react like this.....as per alcohol property it is soaked by your veins mixed to you blood than it reaches your brain....there it reacts...some people can resist the effect for great limits..so they are heavy drinkers...but for some threshold is very low....so this the thing actuall in which way body is adopting......so better have little ones for long time...and slowly too.
