I practised Paganism for several years, and I love everything about it. However, I found Paganism so time consuming that I have put religion on hold while I study for my degree. I really hope i return to it one day-because it is wonderful.
Although I think Christianity is a nice faith for those who believe in it, it has had a fair bit to answer for over the years, and I dislike the way it has replaced the Pagan festivals and Gods with it's own days and saints.
No disrespect to anybody, anything that gives someone a little hope is a wonderful thing.

Paganism is better because it allows for more personal innovation and individuality of belief, rather than following a 2,000 year old book the meaning of which isn't even understood by most of its followers.
Pagan traditions don't need to offer salvation to their followers because they don't believe that humanity needs saving. All in all, Paganism has a healthier view of mankind, in which the idea that people have done something wrong simply by being born human is a foreign concept. Pagans don't want the promise of salvation because we don't think that living life is a sin.

What do you consider Pagan? Buddhists, Taoists, Hindus, Wiccans?
These would be better because they are more compassionate, tolerant and are better caretakers of the planet.
Christians are generally intolerant of other belief systems. Christianity is divisive and is historically a very violent religion. Where as Buddhists Taoists and Hindus generally seek unity and are more likely to seek peace.

Christianity is okay if you like hypocrisy, lies, and a convenient 'out' to get eternal rewards after a life of sin. By their reasoning, a child molester, or murderer could repent on their deathbed and be granted admission to Heaven.
I am Pagan. I practice a blend of Wicca and Kemetic, which is ancient Egyptian. I find my relationship with deity in the form of Bast, and -- honestly -- I'm happier now than I've ever been in a church. I am accountable for my actions; there is no "devil made me do it" worming out of responsibility for me. i mess up, we all do, but I own up to it when I'm in the wrong, and try to fix what needs fixed. I don't need the promise of paradise to motivate my good deeds; the deeds in themselves feel good to me. I don't need the threat of eternal damnation to make me behave with good will towards all; I have found that people reciprocate when they are treated with dignity, respect, and kindness. I do my best to love unconditionally, as a cat does, and not stress when bad things happen. And bad things do happen, I don't blame fate, or the devil, usually I've done something to trigger the 'bad' thing... and it's always a learning experience. Always.
The best way to approach all things in life is to see it as a learning experience.

They're both religions so they're both nuts. However, paganism is a little less nuts: it still assumes there are deities but it's a lot more peaceful than the prevailing monotheisms.
Everyone should read "The End of Faith" by Sam Harris and "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins if they really want to consider themselves informed.

I think neither is "better". For some people, Christianity is the path that makes their heart sing...for others it is one of the various forms of Paganism...for others it may be Islam.
There are as many paths to walk as there are those who walk them. The trick is in finding the path that works for you.
Blessings,

Witch Pagans are you talking about?
Sorry I couldn't resist.
To me, many of the different traditions within Paganism are better because they are more flexible and more accepting of others' beliefs (in general)
But there really isn't any "Best" religion, it is all in what "speaks" to your heart.

Welp I am Pagan. For a lot of reasons the utmost was that it spoke to my soul. I also appreciate that woman are revered with a divine femine, that they respect ALL life and that encourage questions and learning as way to grow spiritually regardless of which religion you are learning about. I enjoy the rituals, which might stem from growing up Catholic, and I enjoy that nothing is absolute. Its a flexible faith and I like that.

Whichever works for the individual, where spirituality is concerned, there is no one-size-fits-all solution. I'm not going to use this question to pimp my religion like others have, I will simply say that for ME, Paganism is more satisfying than Christianity.
