Being "right" about the scriptures, and obeying them are two totally different things. It was wrong from the perspective that Jesus was found completely innocent. Pilate found no fault in Him and did not want to crucify him, but ultimately Satan used the political circumstances in Pilate's life to get Pilate to bend to the will of Satan. Since Christ was innocent, his crucifixion was a murder. Murder is a sin. Of course, we don't blame the Romans for crucifixion, and we don't blame the Jews for the crucifixion. It was my sin, and your sin that held him on the cross, and His great love for all of us. Many will scorn, many will scoff,(as Jesus predicted and warned future believers about persecution) many will give the thumbs down, but the Truth will set you free.

Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: but the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Why do you think we would crucify you? We don't crucify people who don't share our beliefs. We might debate you...but we don't wish you harm or unhappiness. If you are cruel, judgmental, and condemn those who don't AGREE with YOUR beliefs, then we will react with a lot more hostility towards you, yes. But anybody who behaves like that deserves to have people react with hostility towards them. And that is true for believers and atheists.

Its probably the same eerie feeling Pagans get when a Christain tell Thou shall not suffer a witch to live or homosexuals get when Christians talk about stoning them to death and they have no right to even live. It goes both ways so I call it even.

It scares you, does it ?
&& yet, you think you'll win...

Have you considered that perhaps you're scared because you don't have enough faith in your beloved religion ?
&& rightfully so, of course.

Face the facts ;; you have no proof of your so-called " god ".
&& while it is true that we can't prove that he DIDN'T exist, the number of young people who cease to believe in your imaginary friends is growing.

&& it won't be long before these Athiest young'uns will be running the country....

How scared are you now ?

I beg to differ. Atheists get their morals from the inside. Most of them wouldn't kill you because even if they could get away with it, they couldn't get away from themselves.

However in my experience religious types get their morals from the bible and from God, so you probably would crucify someone if you could get away with it [and I mean not only hide from the law but also from God, which I am well aware you believe is an impossible act but we are speaking hypothetically aren't we?] because you yourself might not see anything wrong with killing, but have been told it is wrong by your God and you choose to honour him since it will get you toward heaven.

Sounds to me like you live in fear an awful lot. I can't believe you would even compare yourself to Jesus and being christian.

Obviously you aren't a knight because they don't fear those things. I think you are more likely a wannabe knight.

I certainly would not like to crucify any one. It's a particularly cruel and painful act of murder. How could anyone justify leaving someone nailed to a bit of wood until they starve to death?

Atheism. You know it makes sense.

Most Atheists/Agnostics don't support killing... esp. if the person/thing is innocent. There is a standard right to life that everything has no matter its level of lunacy.

How audacious of you to think that you are worthy of suffering as much as Jesus did.
