flat on your back. Well sometimes, like right before I go to bed, I lay on my back just so I can feel my baby move (I'm 21 weeks). I feel her here and there throughout the day but can really feel her when I lay flat. Why is this? Is there just less space in there when you lay flat or what? Don't worry, I only do it for a couple of minutes to have that joy of my little girl moving around. I was just curious!

It's after you are seven months along that you aren't supposed to sleep on your back. Even then, lying that way for a few minutes won't hurt anything.

When you get bigger, laying on your back will cause the babys weight to pinch an artery. Don't worry about it too much. It's more for your safety than the baby's. You'll start to feel sick from lying on your back before any harm is done.
