I am a Christian and most certainly do not hate muslims, or anybody else for that matter. I certainly don't believe that all muslims should be grouped into one category, simply because of extremist action from some who who claim to act in the name of Islam. They are a tiny minority but as is always the case, the few bring disgrace on the majority. I am sorry that you have been made to feel this way. God bless.

to answer a Q with a Q..What is it that muslims say and do on here that results in so much condemnation and hatred? The way forward is through dialogue and compromise or accommodation. 'Moderate moslems' cannot have any credibility while their extremist brethren are committing atrocities in their name. they way forward is to reform the koran and delete all passages referring to slaughter, war, rape, intolerance and any kind of vindication of paedophilia. This will only enhance Islam, not detract from it.
Don't worry, I can guarantee the christians and jews will do the same!
In the end whose account of life is 'true' does not matter- as in 'the life of pi' -which story do you prefer?

Because they are ignorant. They have no knowledge of Islam and yet they make claims based on what they hear on CNN, or Fox News and what they see extremist muslims doing. They dont question crazy christians who kill other innocent christians..oh nooooooo...if that happens they put them in a mental institution. They think they can commit whatever crime they want because Jesus died for their sins and they will automatically be forgiven...what fools!!!

As a Christian, with friends who are Muslim, I would have to disagree with your assessment. Now, I am not going to say that there are negative perceptions of Muslims, but these images are perpetuated by the media and individuals like "suicide bombers." But, I pose a question to you. America is a country where any religion can exercise their beliefs without persecution (including Muslims). Why isn't this courtesy extended to Christians in Muslim countries?

I don't hate anyone, and many Christain will say they don't hate Muslims. We both have a religion that think they are the best, so that's what can be expected.

The 'radical' Islam does not represent the majority of Muslims as they are also threatened by them if they do not conceed to the extreme 'mission' they are deluded by.

In a bunch of countries where the predominant religion is Islam, they hate countries where the predominant religion is Christianity because some Christians killed some Muslims.

Seems to me countries where the predominant religion is Christianity now return the favor.

Perhaps the answer is turning away from Islam AND Christianity, and Judaism too.

I am not a religious person, but I do detest Muslims!!! This is why. First they are the only race of people on the earth that have failed to come into modern times!!!!! Their mindset is as it was thousands of years ago!! Their way of dress, their laws, THE WAY THEY TREAT WOMEN!! They are barbaric in thought and action!!! They are incapable of thinking their way out of a paper bag! They brainwash their young into thinking that if they blow themselves up that they will sit on the right hand of God and have 72 virgins to play with for eternity!! How lame is that!!! I don't hate them...I don't agree with them and I am more than willing to voice why I disagree with them here...the same way Atheists are willing to voice their opinions on why they disagree with me. I have friends who are Muslim and we are more than capable of having a decent conversation about faith and agree to disagree in the end...it doesn't mean I hate them, but I do not agree with the way they treat women, as though they are second class citizens and unimportant...I also don't agree with the fact that their founder was a child molester (married a 6 year old and had sex with her at 9) as a victim of child abuse myself I could never follow anyone who did something like that. It is much easier to put my faith in a person who was perfect and never sinned because you can't dig up dirt on Jesus. There are many things I don't like about Islam, that doesn't mean I hate the people who follow it, I just feel that they are misguided and wrong.

Offwite, my husband is Mexican/Japanese...why do you need to bring race into this. If you're going to be rascist you better put your boxing gloves on. Lots of people enter the country through Mexican and Canadian borders and they're not ALL Mexican.

Maybe it is the other way around......if you feel that Christians hate Muslims so much, it might be your subconcious telling you that you hate Christians.

I would not jump to conclusions that Christians hate Muslims, just another stupid stereotype.
