Like the other women that answered my line it wear my hair starts (or a little lower on some women, the doctors might shave you a little) that is a planned C- Section scar

there are times in a Emergency situation, (like if the baby's still very high, and vitals show it is in distress, a vertical line higher on the stomach is used
Don't worry it is very rare

In the old days, they were performed a bit high, near the navel (I have been shown scars by older women). Now they are done just below where the pubic hair starts, so that when the hair grows back, the scar is not visible.

In very large women, very early deliveries, very dire emergencies, and very old doctors, the incision is vertical from the belly button down.

Right where the pubic hair starts, it's horizontal, and low enough so you can wear a bikini (ha-ha)

My scar is below my panty line, about 5 inches long and really thin. No one but my husband (and of course my doctor) has ever seen it.
