Graham crackers, any cereals or crackers made with whole grains, oatmeal, fruit or veggies.... BTW - bananas, rice, cooked carrots, and applesauce CAN cause constipation, so keep an eye on how much of that your child eats.

Definitely beans, green vegetables, and fruits. My daughter is 19 months old and eats all table food. She no longer desires the toddler food so to keep her digestive system going good I make sure she gets lots of green veggies, fruit, and water. I don't really give her a lot of juice and she still drinks Vitamin D milk of course.

As a change from bran, why not try Quaker Puffed Wheat.
It has no sugar or salt, and is more interesting to the children.

Many fresh fruits are also high in fibre as are the "Ready to eat" dried fruits, particularly apricots.

Most fruit is a good source of fiber. Apples, pears and strawberries are great. Also, the new high-fiber pastas are good. And beans are great!
