1. Atheist (member of Minnesota Atheists and Atheist Alliance International).
2. Kirk traveled through The Great Barrier, met God, and wasn't even impressed. On the other hand, Picard wasn't afraid to take on Satan. Tough one...they were the best of their own century.

1. Atheist
2. Kirk (great memories of watching the original ST with my dad) but Picard is the better manager and strategist

1) Non-Christian Theist
2) Kirk when I was younger. Picard now that I am older.
I still believe that for exploration a more aggressive outgoing personality is appropriate (Kirk), but for negotiation a more mature intellectual is needed (Picard).
I especially like the combo of Picard with Ryker as his aggressive but obedient 2nd in command. It is like a "good cop, bad cop" team.

1) I'm neither.
2) I'd go with Picard over Kirk - he makes for a better intelligent leader type.

I am a Christian. And I could not possibly choose between Captain Kirk or Jean Luc!
