By what I see, most answers come from them (90%) and very few from other religions.
I asked a couple questions to Catholics and have only a couple answers from them.
I asked a couple general questions about Jesus, I received most answers and biblical quotations from LDS and other fundamentalists
Are you trying to convert people in this site???

This a Questions and Answers site, not a preaching site.

isn't everything? ;)

but based on their responses (I love their feeble attempts against evolution in particular!), I'd surmise they are not very successful here.

Most Fundies will use any forum they can to spread their legalism and spew some judement because they're so much higher than everyone else.
As a Christian I have no qualms with getting an answer with some scripture in it-the word can be very helpful, but I do have a problem with people using it as a hammer to beat people into submission and I fear that these people that use it in that manner do much more harm than good. Scaring people away from Chrisianity and giving it an overall bad vibe.

it is just your timing
there are times when most that answer are the Catholics and others it is mostly atheists, and other times the Muslim are in abundance.
It is all around a full mix of people

oh and I am under none of those title I am simply a One God, Jesus name, Apostolic.

and no I am not trying to convert anyone that is to be done by a preacher in a church.

This is a site where views, opinions and questions can be addressed. If you have aproblem with the religious section, why bother coming here. I really dont think the Answers users who are christian are able to control the amount of other religions being on here

Cheers and have a nice day

since the questions are answered by individuals you'll likely be getting answers from people based on their own beliefs. Most 'mellow' christians, buddists, taoists, etc. are often very comfortable and peaceful in their beliefs and wouldn't even go to that section of a service like this. However, "recruiters" or people seeking to bring people into the fold of their religion - or people who aren't confident in their religious beliefs are more likely to come here to find community.

There are some that blatantly break the YA terms of service, and post proselytizing attempts posing as questions, but I wouldn't go so far as to call it an agenda. I think it's just certain users who feel they are above the rules.

Then quit preaching!! There is no criteria for who is on here . I feel like I see more athiests here than anyone else. If you ask a question, expect it to be answered by whoever chooses to answer. If you are offended by the answers, leave. You can't expect your questions to only be answered by people who agree with you. Or are you that closed minded that you can't stand to hear other views?

and BTW, LDS is not a Christian denomination.

You ask a religious question, I give you an answer. That answer may or may not contain a scripture verse. Anyone can participate in Yahoo Answers R&S. It's not my job to convert anyone.

What would you have us do, Japou? Just give one word answers? If the question is asked we will give the answer we think we should. And I know a lot of Catholics that are Christians. God bless you.

You will find preaching and attempts at conversion anywhere and everywhere as long as there are people who are followers of religions that teach them to "go tell it on the mountain."
