Why do people still practise homosexuality, after what happened to the people of Lut?

Why are homosexuals spreading around aids like it is a game or something, it is peoples lives they are ruining, homosexuals should be castrated.

Well, on behalf of homosexuals, they're not the only ones spreading HIV/AIDS...heterosexual people get caught up in that too, as well as anyone who comes in contact with infected blood. And while I certainly don't believe that homosexuals should be castrated, I do feel that those who are infected with the highly contagious AIDS virus should be listed on a national database...because, quite simply, many of these people don't tell others about their condition because a) they're ashamed of it, or b) they don't yet know about it.

As for the practice of homosexuality, as a devout Christian I believe it is entirely immoral...but I won't pass judgment on these people, because it's not my place to do so. That judgment rests with God alone. In fact, I've known some very pleasant homosexuals in my lifetime, and my wife's uncle is gay. While I can't stand him (for personal reasons), I think his "partner" is a wonderful person. I'll judge a person based upon their personality, not their sexual preference.

But, if you live in America, there are bills that the House and Senate are trying to pass into law that would make comments like yours and mine a HATE crime. Preachers could soon be arrested for preaching to their congregation that homosexuality is immoral. Christians could soon be prosecuted for declaring their stance on all kinds of issues. This goes for any religion that condones the same, such as Islam.

Might want to keep this in mind if the bills passes, because questions like this could certainly be labeled as a "hate crime."

Lot is the name. Sodom and Gomorrah is not purely about homosexuality but rather about abuse of strength and power. Homosexual act is just one of them and the two cities were not destroyed just because of them. They have corruptions, crimes, lusts, disorder and unlawfulness in the two cities of sins.
The encounters between men and the visiting angels about them being invited to have sex is not because they are homosexuals but because they are like prisoners of our modern times who wanted to emasculate any newcomers to subjugate them not for pleasure but more for proving who is strong or not.
Homsexuality is a hormonal imbalance in man and it is a kind of defects that no man ever wanted to be different from the normal yet it is there. Doing what man and woman do by both man is morally wrong by the religion's standard. Wrong also in the sense of reponsiblity to be a part of the world's procreation program. There just must be some kind of study for the homosexuals to live normally in a free society

Actually Aids is almost 50 %, heteros or homosexual, I am not a gay but I imagine that even somebody will tell me that women are not right to me, how do I change my "preferences"?, beware cause women, men, teens...anybody can have AIDS these days, and by the way, is really silly to brand people for their very personal, sexual life which the same or different than mine is their very own problem.

I watched a documentary about it. There was one guy who did it and deeply regretted it. The websites were glamorising and trivialising a very dangerous condition.

Ya know, only 60% of people with AIDS are gay in America. THat leaves 40% that are straight and have AIDS... And, 70% of the world population that has AIDS is heterosexual...

For the same reason that people murder, commit adultery etc. they do not have Jesus in their hearts and they do not see that it is wrong. If you don't believe in the Lord, why would you believe in His rules?

Speaking as a Christian, I personally do not have anything against gay people. In fact, I am friends with a number of gay/bi people. However, I do believe that practicing homosexuality is very, very wrong! But I lie, gossip etc which is just as bad so I cannot say that homosexuals are bad people, as that would make me a hypocrite. (not because i am gay, i am not, but because i also sin, as does everyone on the world)
