See here's the thing Huzzy, your master is giving you one last test before you are ready to go out on your own. He is teaching you the art of deception, which is critical for any ninja and/or Jedi. He is letting you believe that your are actually more powerful, provoking you to engage him in an epic battle in which he will easily defeat you. You must learn to see beyond the master's cunning tricks. Only then will you become more powerful than he.

Ah so! But you fail to realize young grasshopper, that Masters never teach their students the one secret invincible technique which gives him the upperhand in the event that you use what he taught you against him. So i say no, do not challenge him until you can discover this secret technique.That's how the 7 Star Prying Mantis Kung Fu came to be, it used to be the 12 star Prying Mantis, but the succeeding masters kept hiding one secret star from his student just in case, until the last one was foolish enough to teach all and not keep one secret thereby stopping the degradation of the style from becoming only the One Star Prying Mantis technique.

It is time to set out and find more challenging opponents or teachers that will bring new techniques to your game. There exists an infinate amount of knowledge in the arts do to the nature of its evolution. Though you may feel good at the top of the dojo it will become apparent that less challange results in a decreasing rate in which you will learn. To avoid becoming stagnant in your training it is better for you to travel to other dojos and train with different body types and styles.
