I'm having a BAD week! In a BAD mood. Irritated at hubby. Bothered by deadlines at work. Can't stand when people decide to change their lunch times without telling me ahead- I get to stay and wait. Ugh! Everything is buggin' me. I would like nothing more right now than to go home, crawl under the covers and wait until the weekend!

Oh Lord yes. About twice a week my co-workers get into uncontrollable giggling and chortling fits. You can imagine.

I hate morning radio, where bunches of deejays are all talking and laughing about nothing. At least then I can switch the station! I don't know why every morning radio show has a bunch of idiots laughing their heads off constantly. I guess their bosses think it puts people into a good mood. Not me.

so far from everyone's answers, what you are feeling is completely normal despite the fact you don't feel so normal when you are feeling like that. everyone says, try exercise for stress, try meditation, try deep breaths when you are too the point of wanting to take a baseball bat to every desk in the office, every window in the building, every head on the floor. i'm not going to tell you to relax but reaching out like you did makes me think you did none of those things. oh the real world so sux sometimes.
many blessings.

I've been at that particular time, the same as yourself, what I do to calm myself is close my eyes, take big breaths and count from 1 to 10.

This will help me get my head cool and think throughly of a solution for all the problems I'm perceiving.

YES! I've had to bite my tongue very hard in many instances. When I'm like that, I find that a quick walk and/or some deep breathing exercises help.

The weekend's just around the corner, you've almost made it :)

I have felt the same way. But what I do is excuse myself and go outside for a while, (and try to get the party mood back) or go home to relax.

Yes - at work - but sometimes I would like to do that at the mall and theatre while waiting in line to pay.

Yes and it's usually because I'm PMSing and irritate easily. Under normal circumstances where my hormones are more balanced, it's not so much.
