I'm not sure that the Bible says anything about cohabitation, but it definitely talks about fornication. Sure there are people who can live together and not have sex, but there sure would be a lot more temptation. If you are trying to live a life for Christ it might not be a good idea to put yourself in a situation that is most likely going to cause you to stumble.

edit: if you don't use the bible for referance why did you ask for referance from it?
and you should have said " a roomate" not "living together" in today society living together a man and a woman usally includes a BF GF relationship. by todays stanards including sex.

Living together and having a sexual relationship before marriage?
It's all over the Bible, including in the 10 Commandments (Exodus 20), where the 7th (Ex 20:14) says, "Thou shalt not commit adultery."
If you are having a sexual relationship, or even lusting for someone who is not your marriage partner (and if you are living with someone out of wedlock, you are certainly doing this), you are committing adultery.
Additionally, Jesus condemns the woman of the well of this sin (John 4).

The Bible doesn't say this. People say that a man and woman who are in a relationship shouldn't live together if they don't want to be having sex before marriage.

If you are just living together as friends and nothing else there is no sin in that
1 Corinthians 6:9

As the term "living together" was not invented until the 1960's, you will not find it in the King James Bible (translated in 1611). Instead it uses an older English word, "fornication". The word means "to have sex with a person to whom you are not married".
Some of the scriptures about fornication include:

Thou shalt not commit adultery. Exodus 20.
That is sex with someone(s) who isn't your spouse. In the old testament if one had premarital sex with the person promised to, they had to get married. If they had sex with someone other than who they were engaged to, then it is the same as adultery.
In the new testament, fornication is sex with anyone you are not married to or not going to be married to.

You can plainly see from the quotes above as well as Gods voice within you that hooking up with girls without the committment and bonds of marriage doesnt bring about anything but ungodliness. You should also be able to examine the real life consequences of fornication in unwanted pregnancy, broken families, adoption, AIDS, and gut-wrenching break-ups that are trademarks of fornication.
