With Hamburger Helper you're getting meat plus usually either noodles, rice or potato in the dish itself, so you'd want some sort of vegetables and/or a salad probably to round out the meal. Maybe a tossed salad or cole slaw, corn, beans or peas would go good.

Since most hamburger helper has some type of rice or pasta in it (essentially, they're casseroles even though they're cooked in a frying pan), I'd say skip the carbs (don't need potatoes, rolls, biscuits, etc.). Salad is always a good choice. Broccoli? Spinach? Any green vegetable would work. What type you pick depends on what flavor H.H. you're making.

You didn't mention which Hamburger Helper you'd be fixing, but here are some ideas:
1. Green salad
2. Fresh green beans and carrots
3. Buttered noodles with parsley
4. Hot rolls
5. Spinach salad with mandarin oranges, feta, and candied walnuts
6. Hot french bread with Italian herbs and cheese
7. Cheese and fresh fruit
The list goes on. Bon Appetit!

It would help to know what kind of helper you're making.
In a pinch we make some of the Italian ones and usually have bread sticks and a salad.
Corn often times goes good with some different kinds.
A salad would go with any.
Green beans would go with most.
Try some steamed broccoli or some asparagus.

The hamburger helper already has all the protein and starch you need. Have veggies. raw veggie sticks, a salad, or something steamed.

Pea Mash.
Mix cooked minted peas to mashed potato.
Carrot & Parsnip Mash.
Mash the two together.
Both would be great with the mince gravy, if that is what you are talking about.
Even if it isn't they are good eats.
