even if i put it to MAX AC still not cold just a cool air,which makes rear passengers not feeling a cold atmosphere.I live in costal city in temp. normally 40' dgrees centigarde.
the case becomes worse when i try to accelrate more it just stop cooling for a while,i still haven't change the ac compressor i hope it is the my last resort.

Make sure when ac is on, the condenser fan (in front on the radiator) is running. With ac on, fan runs continuously. Check the ac pressures, this will point you to the right direction. Also, I don't know who did the work, but a missing/wrong sized orifice will cause this also. a plugged orifice may do the same, if its plugged, you will note freezing on the large tube going into your firewall that stops suddenly close to the firewall.

The AC isn't overcharged or undercharged is it??
Either the low pressure switch or the high pressure switch will take the compressor out until the pressures equalize again.
This would cause the compressor to cycle on and off.

Its a Taurus, its designed this way, this is normal, your good to go! ...maybe check windows washer fluid & or tire pressure, might have a effect on it.
