No, not at all...

Not necessarily.

Christianity is about responsibility, because Christians know we have a Judge and a Father who is watching our behavior. Atheists have neither. Of course such a belief system is going to attract people who act childishly.

Of course, i am very disappointed at not meeting more respectful and cognitive atheists, people who can have a real discussion with you (then again, i shouldn't expect to find that on this kind of site).

I guess the only way my views have changed is that it reinforces to me that most "atheists" are only atheist because it allows them to be immature without consequence.

The atheist on this forum are not and indicator of what the athiest in the rest of the world is like nor more than us right wing religious fanatics are an indicator of what all christians are like.

My Opinion on athiest hasn't change. Surprisingly it's never been negitive just like my opinion of most christians hasn't changed by being here and I don't have negitive opinions of them either.

I don't buy what they say in either camp but that doesn't mean I dislike them.

All I know is I dont want to label people 'christian' or 'atheist', but I do it from time to time to make a point or express an opinion ... but the truth is I see you all as individuals, and I do my best not to pre-judge you ... but to listen to what you have to say, contemplate what I relate to, take what I need, and leave the rest

understanding and open-mindedness is about changing my perspective ... not trying to convince you to change yours

I think it a little depressing to me to see so many prideful people saying "no ... nothing anyone does or says can change my mind" ... my opinion is that these are people who have stopped trying to learn

"Be the change you wish to see in the world." It is true, Christians get nowhere by addressing non-believers with judgment, and was never the intention. You can't attack another person and his/her beliefs without being met with doubt and hostility. I think the responsibility rests with the Christians, to be open-minded, reach out to those who have genuine interest, and patiently (no matter how difficult) respect those who are athiest. Cramming religion down their throats will do nothing but harbor resentment and make their athiest feelings even stronger. Our job as Christians is to be a servant of all, lead by example, and hope that inspires others to follow suit.

Some atheists on this site are not the average atheist, and do go to extremes--as do some Christians and Muslims. Most people with or without religion keep to themselves, and do not start public debates, or write comments just to rile people up.

No, my views on atheists have not changed due to what is posted here. They are, however, reaffirmed.

1Corinthians 2:14
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

I don't think the internet is a very great place to form views/opinions about people. I strongly doubt that atheism is being represented well on here, and I feel that many religions are not being represented very well on here...

they are more angry and cynical than I would have ever guessed. I always believed they were fooled by there intelligence. This sight has shown me that more are blinded by ignorance than by a pompous intellectual attitude.
I feel they are more lost than I could have ever imagined. My heart aches for them. Although there are many pompous atheist I still believe that is derived from ignorance.
