Fundamentally, Judaism believes that God, as the creator of time, space, and matter, is beyond them, and cannot be born or die, or have a son. Judaism teaches that it is heretical for any man to claim to be God, part of God, or the literal son of God.

They also believe that the Christian claims that Jesus is the textual messiah of the Hebrew Bible are based on mistranslations and Jesus did not fulfill the qualifications for Jewish Messiah.

Jews don't believe G-d has a literal son. There's a verse in Navi (The Prophets) where it says, "You Israel are my firsborn son." If G_d had a pre-existing, eternal son as part of the G-dhead, this would be a false statement.

Your verse in Proverbs does not say anyone has a son. It simply says, "What is his name, and his sons name if you know it?" After asking a bunch of questions, among them, "Who has gone to heaven and come back down, who has gathered the ocean in his clothes...etc."

The answer is no man has done these things, thus everyone is bound to obey G-d, as the next two verses make clear.

You can tell the verse is not speaking of G-d but asking what man has done these things because of the direction in the first question. "Who has gone to heaven and come down." The action starts on earth. If it were asking about G-d it would say, "Who has come to Earth and gone back up."

Yes, it's true they don't believe it.
Most Jews are not religious though. And even those who are religious oftentimes don't read the entire Old Testament. They tend to focus on the Torah, or the first five books of the Bible, and the Psalms, plus their own extra-biblical rabbinical writings.

I'm not jewish, just have some knowledge.

They believe Jesus to be YHWH's prophet, nothing more. In this particular case, Islam and Judaism agree.

And from what I've picked up, the Torah is more OLD testament and the NEW testament is a christian add on.

Yes, it's true, sort of.
The Rabbis have taught that the Nation of Israel is His Son.

Too bad they overlook a mountain of scriptures to the contrary.

David and Solomon were both refered to as Mosiach and as sons of god.

In this, Jesus was not unique.

The Jewish people do believe in the historical Jesus--they do not believe that He is the Savior. They believe that the Savior is still to come.
