Yes, they are far more violent, defensive and easily provoked. They really are more immoral on average and less interested in pursuing actual knowledge. People didn't kill each other for Zeus or Wotan, they killed for other reasons. More people have died for the abrahamic god than for anything else in the history of the world - by far.
Followers of Zeus and Thor also never attempted genocide due to their holy beliefs, they didn't try to eradicate the Jews for instance, as the Nazis (who were the most christian nation the world has ever seen at the time) did, for allegedly killing a messiah who was meant to die anyway.

Yes. Christians believe in a God who is Omnipotent. Zeus and Thor were limited in their realm of power and beset by quite human faults. This allowed their followers to be excused of responsibility for their not so good behaviors, because even their Gods were not perfect.

Christians are VERY different than the pagans whose beliefs they brutally suppressed. Paganism by it's very nature was pretty much based around an "it's all good" philosophy. If, for example, a god from a neighboring nation seemed like a useful idea, they incorporated that god into their local pantheon of gods. Most individuals or households had their own, "personal gods" and while "cults" that revolved around a particular god were not uncommon, no one went around killing others because they chose another path.
But today's Christians ARE no "different" from pagans in very central ways they will never acknowledge: While the Christian world-view is supposedly monotheistic, they in fact worship a heavenly hierarchy composed of a central "God," Jesus Christ, this central god's "son" avatar; the "holy spirit," to cover all possible loopholes; a "goddess" in the form of Mary the Madonna; a host of Saints (both minor and major), angels, demons and martyrs by the score and, of course, the anti-god God...Satan (and his countless legion of minions).
All in all, a list so long it puts most polytheistic cultures to shame by comparison.
So no. And yes.

Ask a Christian, and he/she will definitely say they are different, because all Christians believe they have THE true religion and the rest are bunk.
Ask an atheist, and he/she will say that it's just one more group of people who follow a myth.

No they are not. Nor are they different than anybody believing in of the many other gods man has invented over the centuries.
It's funny how folks are so sure their one god is the only one and so therefore all others must be false. I agree with these folks, Christians, or whomever. I also believe in all those other gods are nothing but made up fairy tales. It's just that I know that THEIR god is also in that bunch of fairy tales.

Jesus Christ died so that we may be forgiven of our sins. I have not studied up on Zeus and Thor, but I do not believe they made any such sacrifice.
