I have a disability and going to college on line is there any assistance I can receive?

Yes, there is assistance for disabled individuals to go to college. If you are on Social Security Disability, you are entitled to receive help from the Office or Department of Vocational Rehabilitation which can be located in the blue pages of your telephone book. Also, it can be located on your state government's website, and it can be located via Google.com or Yahoo.com. I will list some other free resources to locate money to attend college.

First, the college's financial aid office and website has a list of private scholarships offered from outside organizations and companies. Sometimes a college major's website will list scholarships, too.

Second, the public library has a book listing scholarships with some not even listed on the web.

The FAFSA form will help you qualify for need based financial aid from the government along with the college itself. It can come in the form of a Pell Grant, student loan, and college scholarships. This is filled out every January 1 for the upcoming fall semester until you graduate from college.

Finally, I recommend joining several free membership scholarship search websites. There are scholarships for a variety of things including ethnicity, clubs, hobbies, and even wearing duct tape to the high school prom. Most are updated on a regular basis. Most offer a customized search based on information entered onto a form on the website.

I have the same problem and I attend Mira Costa College in
California. I have 3 on line classes and I have a pell grant, and
several others. Did you do a FARSA?
Talk to your financial aid office.

I have been taking on-line classes through AIU and I went through FAFSA, in the beginning I had no problems using them and now that I had to re-apply because I am going on to get my B.A. I have had nothing but problems.
