It went into affect in Jan but is being enforced after today in my county all the business complied right away and business has not suffered. In the south of the state there are still business holding out and some say they won't do it they will just pay the fines. Well i will be calling to report them if that is what they want

i feel that as a non smoker with asthma i had no choices there were maybe to restuarnts that did not allow smoking but it is so great now to go any where i want to go. I think that people who smoke are infridging on the majority of those who don't. As for our smoking ban it was voted on by the people not put in by the government

Mind your own business. How would you like it if someone called the cops every time you were driving above the speed limit, or made a turn without a signal. If the businesses don't want to ban smoking, let them. They'll get caught sooner or later.

BECAUSE THE GOVERNMENT HAS NO RIGHT TO TELL A BUSINESS OWNER IF A PERSON CAN OR CAN NOT SMOKE IN THEIR ESTABLISHMENT . IT'S A PRIVATE BUSINESS .

i am a non smoker , i hate smoke as much as you do , but what i hate more is when someone tells a private business what they can or can't do . if you do not like the business then don't come in . if i owned the business i too would fight it

Bring your inhaler with you and leave your cell phone at home. Stop being a baby about it. If you don't want to be around smoker's don't go where they go to smoke in peace.
