A tattoo is something personal to each individual. When one picks the design, the meaning is generally individual to the person who chose it.
That question can only be answered by the person with a tattoo of a gun.
You may know more than one person with a tatoo of a gun and upon asking each will probably give you a different answer.

How should we know? Go find ten people with one and ask each of them. That way you will get ten different, but correct, answers and you can pick which of those you like best.

Well I think that might be personal.
My roommate has tattoos of two six shooters starting at her hip bones and point down to her pelvis.
They symbolize her inability to have children.
I don't think a gun has any set meaning...like swallow's and dove's do.

If they sag their pants and wear a spandex mullet it means their a wanna be gangsta. if their alternative freako and have a million tattos it probably means nothing
