Yes.
The Catholic Church allows marriage between Catholics and non-Catholics.
Because the Church recognizes the tremendous challenge that the interfaith couple will face, they may have to get permission from the bishop.
With love in Christ.

You can get married in the church. My fiance is non-denominational Christian and I'm Catholic. If you want to get married in Catholic church, you have to go and talk to a priest and there are some preparation classes that are required....i actually think that most Christian churches require some type of preparation as well...just go and talk to the priest or minister depending on which church you plan to get married in. If you choose to do a Catholic wedding I would reccomend just doing the ceremony, not the entire mass.
Good Luck!!!

The only thing you can do is to call the church and ask. Each church is different and some just like to get the money. Usually however Catholic churches will only marry you if one of you is a catholic. My fiance isn't catholic but I am so we had no problem. Keep in mind that if they agree to marry you there you will need to go through counseling or PreCana which also costs money. Not alot but everyone getting married in a Catholic Church has to go through it. Sometimes it is with a group other times it is with another married couple and sometimes it is just with the priest. Well...Best Wishes!

Yes it is possible to get married in a church, you just might not be able to get married in the catholic church. If either of you are members of a church or attend a church speak to the minister about this.

Sure you can. Your FH must be a Catholic in good standing in order to be married in the Catholic Church. Good standing basically means he has gotten all his sacraments (baptism, penance, first communion, etc.) You, as a non-Catholic, do not have to have these sacraments yourself.
You will need to schedule a meeting with the Priest and you will need to attend Pre-Cana classes set up by the parish. Most churches require weddings to be scheduled 9-12 months in advance. The more popular the Church, the quicker they book up. This also gives you plenty of time to meet with the Priest & schedule Pre-Cana.
Best of luck to you!

It depends on the church. My parents were married in a Catholic church (my mom is, my dad isn't) and he didn't have to convert. I was married in a Catholic church (we both were Catholic) but at least our best man and maid of honor had to be Catholic. It depends on how strict that Church is.

Yes...if you get married in the Catholic Church you just won't beable to participate in communion..any non denom church will marry you but most churches reguardless of denomination require pre marital counseling by the Pastor or Priest. It is actually kind of fun. It is not a big lecture preachy session at all.

Very much so. My finance is catholic and I was reared pentacostal. We will be married by my preacher, however we're doing the whole catholic pre-marraige counseling through the catholic church, so it's sanctioned (or recognized)by both our churches. We did compromise though in regard to having the wedding in one of the churchs - we're getting married outside. Hope this helps.

My fiance is Catholic and I'm Methodist and we are getting married in my church. It's definitely possible. I also have roommates who are the same way and then ended up having both a priest and minister marry them in a Methodist church.
