There is a product called Aphogee. http://www.aphogee.com/aphogeetreatment.cfm

It smells horrible but it puts a layer of protection on the hair and lasts for six weeks.

Shampoo the hair and then apply the treatment and DO NOT cover with a plastic cap.

Do not touch or comb or brush the hair while you are under the dryer. This is a heat activated product.

Your hair will become stiff while processing.

Then, you let it cool, rinse out first before you use a comb, then shampoo with a good smelling shampoo.

If your hair is unbearable to wear out while it's damaged, go try on wigs and find a nice, stylish one while you are letting your hair grow back. Make sure you get a wig cap to wear on your own hair to protect it.

First off start drinking the recommended 64 fl oz of water daily to re-hydrate your hair, then deep condition it EVERY time you shampoo which should only be every 3 days
