if you consider yourself educated then worry, your grasp of logic is skewed for starters. Atheists look for evidence to base any belief in, and not live according to superstitious clap-trap and under the control of the church. Which sounds educated to you - sorry you might not be able to grasp this answer ?

It has already been pointed out to you that your logic is completely illogical, so no need to go into that.
As for your comment on uneducated atheists, do you think we just woke up one fine day and declared "I am an atheist"?
We are just not brainwashed !!
If you are talking about religiously uneducated then I can safely say that atheist have a better understanding of all religions than the vast majority of religious folk have of their own particular brand.
I have asked numerous questions on here on various religions, not because I don't know the answer but I wanted to check out the diversity of the replies, and boy do they vary!!
For example , for some reason I think you are a Christian, (you seem to have the attitude of a Christian)!!
Can you tell me what you must believe to call yourself a 'Christian'? Do you think that your belief that Jesus was the Son of God, is enough? I know what you need to be called a Christian, can you explain the 'Holy Trinity'?
Uneducated atheists?? Not as far as all religions are concerned were not.
Just a final little note, ' logic ' and religion certainly do not equate!!
Harry Potter??he was also a believer in the supernatural wasn't he, like your self!

Even though I'm a Christian, I'm afraid I have to agree with the atheists, this question IS ridiculous.
Some atheists are highly educated, and some are intelligent. However intelligence and education are not solely atheistic domains, as there is a significant number of intelligent, highly educated religious people.
From the religious point of view, knowing how God wants us to act is more important than knowing every last detail about how this universe works. The two are not incompatible, provided people realise that the Bible was not written to be a science textbook. Taking Biblical Creation literally is a sure way to alienate those who put science first. As for me, I believe that God set up this universe and guides its development.
I'm not asking or telling anyone to agree with me! I just request that you respect my right to make my own choices in the same way you would want your choices to be respected.

I'm sorry, but it's a very weak argument to say, "Something cannot be made without a creator." Science and logic know that is not true. Matter can spontaneously appear in a vacuum (such as space... like before a big bang...). This has been proven.
It takes extreme thought and intelligence to look past the easy answer ("God did it") to find the REAL answer. Remember, the bible was written by men who thought that god killed them when they ate a specific animal because he didn't want them to eat it... they didn't know at the time that they died because the meat wasn't properly prepared. They didn't have science and technology to assist them in finding out the answers... they just ascribed them to an unknown god.
Thankfully, we know better now.

For someone who infers that they are so highly educated your post is pointless, rambling, has atrocious grammar and is logically flawed.
Actually the more educated you are the more likely you are to be an atheist. Go research it if you dare.
Taking your primary assumption to be true, then the universe had to be made and you claim it was made by god. But where did god come from? From your argument, if he exists then he had to be made, so god had a creator, lets call him god2. But wait a minute, from your argument, if he exists then he had to be made, so god2 had a creator, lets call him god3. But wait a minute, from your argument, if he exists then he had to be made, . . . . there must me an infinite number of gods making each other so that one can make the universe.
This is a pure logical (sic) from your argument. Is that what you are proposing?
Interestingly enough people who are a lot smarter than me and you are proposing ways in which universes can pop into existence out of nothing. If you would care to argue with them then go ahead. make sure your 11 dimensional mathematics is up to par first though otherwise you are going to look like an even bigger fool than you look like here.

No I think it's there assumption that "God" Is a Human/Man. They view him as a person. Probably a Large Old Guy with a white beard and a white robe with sandels.
The World Came from Something. Something Caused all these reactions that scientist talk about. There is no such thing a reaction from No action.
There is only for every action there is a reaction.
Now religions believe there is a higher "spirit" you may say that did that.
It's not that there uneducated or anything, They just dont understand what Religions are talking about.

How does "Knowing that something cannot be made without something or someone making it is pure logical"
Everything is theoretical, until it's proven. Religion is a theory of how life was created. Religion was also used as an answer to the unexplainable before we were more educated. To say an atheist is uneducated is ridiculous. Do you think the worlds still flat and the suns rays are the heavens shining down at us?

All things arise due to causes and conditions, are changing and impermanent. The existence of an omnipotent creator being is illogical based on observation, logic AND theory.
When you really, honestly study philosophy, logic and a few other items you'll understand where you've gone horribly wrong in your commentary.

You can not define a "group" of people with such broad terms. Some atheist are more educated than others, some Christians are more educated than others and so on and so on. Individuality is a great thing. :)
