I would like to get my radiologists degree from the Army but am not which to pick from, reserves or active duty. Plaese give facts and opinions on how anyone has gone about this.

Do you mean being trained as a radiologist in the Army, or getting a degree through Army programs such as the MGIB and the Army College Fund?

If it is the former, I would suggest you look at either the Navy or the Air Force.

If it is the latter, I suggest you look at the National Guard. It really depends on how much flux you can endure in your life (moving constantly etc).

If I were you, with the limited infomation you have given me thus far, I would choose the Army Reserve.

Today not much. Typical reserve is one weekend a month. two weeks a year.
Active is 24 7

if you go reserve you will get less money for college but more time to go.
if you go active I would suggest going to the officer recruiter and apply for ROTC scholarship

The difference is the difference between the words "reserve" and "active".

you get to be home on a regular basis you are required to do the same basic training and then one weekend a month and two weeks a year until they need you
