Obey the law. If an officers tells you to do something then do it and you don't have to worry about the effects of any anti riot weapons. I fully support the police in this action. You MUST obey a police order and do it quickly. That's the law.
Has anyone read about Kent State. Long ago the national guard attacked legal American college students and some were killed,no one is above the law.
No one.

I believe that if there was a huge out of control riot, than yes they are appropriate. However you are leaving out what Chief Bratton said himself, ..."the vast, vast majority of the crowed were behaving appropriately." (LA Times, May 2) I do agree that something needed to be done to control the few who caused the problem, however, shooting rounds of rubber bullets and reacting with such force to the entire crowd did nothing but cause the riot. Am I supposed to believe that the police cannot control a small section of people without having to shut down a rally of thousands?? I do think the actions of the police were inappropriate. Leave your political opinions about the rally's purpose out of it, would you feel the same if it was a peaceful gathering of another sort, perhaps right to life? I am ashamed at the reaction to this question. How dare anyone suggest we should have used real bullets, same on you. And as to comparing us to other countries and their immigration status, I would remind you that we are a country built on immigrants and those who come here from Mexico and other countries illegally are doing jobs that help sustain our economy and that the vast majority of citizens wouldn't do anyway. If we didn't make it so difficult to come in legally this would not be an issue. I know people with bountiful resources, college educations and legitimate marriages to US citizens who still had to wait up to 8 years for citizenship! How are people who do not have those advantages supposed to get here? they have nothing but the desire to work and give their families a brighter future just the same as all of the immigrants though out or nations great history.

They are not that dangerous. If they didn't pack at least some punch, they'd be ineffective. TASARS are much more dangerous than rubber bullets because many people's hearts can't take the shock. The TASARS cause sudden cardiac death and other problems.
Did you hear that despite over 250 rounds of rubber bullets being fired, there was not one arrest made? Can you imagine the uprising that would have occurred had the police actually done the job they should have done and arrested the agitators? Witnesses claim that the agitators threw bottles at the police and even knocked one off his motorcycle. Shouldn't that policeman have the right to defend himself and arrest the lawbreakers? That's assault and battery! But all you hear about is how the police abused their power and used excessive force. I wish they had sent ICE in and DHS and DEA and really shown them what law enforcement is all about. When citizens marched and staged protests at Kent State, the police didn't use rubber bullets -- they killed the students. Many innocents were killed and their legal right to protest was infringed. Why were the illegals allowed to march without any kind of interference whatsoever?
Our government continues to commit treason against its law-abiding citizens. The discrimination and protection awarded to the criminals is so outrageous that citizens who obey the laws are allowing themselves to be enslaved by the lawbreakers and our treasonous government. We need to stop this nonsense and enforce the laws. They were passed for the protection of all citizens and their passage was with the clear intent that the laws would be enforced. All those who flaunt the laws, including our government, are criminals!

perchance grew to develop into over porta-potties are not their theory of a revolt, yet smashing keep homestead windows, breaking into businesses, vandalizing police vehicles and vandalizing possibility free bystanders are. perchance you won't be able to tell the version, besides the indisputable fact that the lots really can. considering that even as do a set of coastline bums deserve the interest that real riots deserve? BTW.. the position were Jackson and Sharpton? They, of everyone and being the race pimps that they are, have neglected a great probability. This should be a cover tale over at between the 'independent' liberal internet sites. on a daily basis KOOKS? Dem Underground? Huffpo? All 3 plus extra? MSNBS?

a tazer can only work on a single person, not a crowd of hundreds to thousands. the rounds arnt called non-lethal, they are less than lethal, because they can be fatal. they are designed to be used with hopes of dispersing crowds. we do not aim for the head, but sometimes it happens. bean bag rounds, could slice people up, and way back it was wooden rounds. long story short, dont be in the situation to begin with and you dont have to worry about being shot.

it is obvious police are not trained properly , I don't care what kind of people is demonstrating on a rallie , you simply don't shoot at kids and women. no Mexicans, not kKK 's , if there is children present just don't shoot period, well they simply don't care remember Waco,Tx they killed Koresh and all the children with no remorse . so I guess it is OK.
