ok, i got a lot of good replies from my last question. now i will answer some of your questions
1) alot of people said he was old enough to be my father. this is true, but he is not my father. im not missing a father figure, both my parents are still married and living in the same house. i do not look at him as my father at all. he doesnt have kids nor is he ever around kids. he doesnt see me as a child, he sees me as a young woman.
2) some people mentioned that there can be nothing a 42yr old and an 18 yr old would have in common. that is not true, we both want to travel and our views on things are similar. we also want the same things in a relationship. we are also different (obviously) but those differences only make the relationship more interesting.
3) a lot of people said him and i are going to get a bad reputation because of this. people like to judge others based on looks and there isnt any way to escape that unless i did what society wanted so that doesnt bother me

Sorry but midlife crisis is my first thought - sure now he's trying to relive his youth and has all this stuff in comon with you. But what about when reality hits and he turns back into stuffy old man.
I can understand the attraction - power, success, money, someone to take control, maturity, worldly etc etc but think about it.
On the plus side he doesn't have kids, so I guess you're not hurting anyone and it would make things easier for you.
If you really really want it then go ahead, but you will have to live with a lot of crap from people.

It's not 'immoral'. Morality is utterly a subjective value judgement dependant on the individual. It MIGHT be unwise, but morality does not enter into it. Consider that when youre his age that he'll be 66. This is essentially the beginning of old age. You are now his girlfriend, you might someday be his wife, but you will end up as his nurse. You will be in the prime of your life while he is at the end of his. It will NOT be a happy situation for either of you.
Lastly, one has to wonder why a 42 year old man is interested in an adolescent. It is not a sign of good emotional health. This man is basically the way he's always going to be, and you're at the start of your life and you will continue to change. That does NOT make for a good relationship.

Think about it. He must be a pervert. Why do you think a 42 year old likes you or something? Its obvious! He's creepy because he thinks about doing you all the time and if he is after an 18 year old now, think about what he does on the internet. -and trust me, in a few months, you'll realize that your just as weird as he is. Not everyone thats 42 is so dreamy like Johnny Depp.

Hey! If you don't mind being seen as a gold digger, and he doesn't mind being seen as an old pervert... Who is anyone else to say it's immoral?
You don't mind what people are gonna say behind your back, neither do I.

the easy answer to all your concerns is --- go with your heart ---- if you care for each other then be together --- find happiness together and tell the world to take a flying leap

did you read what i wrote in part one?
i bet you feel like he's what you are lookin for... and i bet he tells you everything you want to hear...
think of it this way, how would it feel if your dad and mom split and he started a serious relationship with one of your friends from high school... would you call her mom??
think of it that way, and that should put all things into perspective for you
hope that helps
