Is it possible to get Free-to-air TV on your computer?

I'm having a debate with my mum. She believes that with my new computer i can watch TV. I say its not possible. PLEASE end this debate for me. Can i pick up Channel Ten and WIN and stuff on my pc?

I'm in Australia BTW

FTA satellite has been around a long time. You can receive FTA signal by using any DVB satellite card for your PC and with correct satellite dish pointing at the FTA bird of your choice. If you in Australia, I'm not sure which bird are in view of your area.
