Why?? Do you need to ask that? Chavs are a bunch of no good vandals who go round dealing/taking drugs and smashing peoples windows with bricks. Chavs are the kind of people who have nothing better to do than walk around in awful looking trackies and hoodies, and trying to look cool when they look really fake and stupid. Try wearing tutus, your less likely to look threatening. Everyone hates chavs because they are the scourge of this country, and they are all out to scare the community, especially poor harmless old ladies who chavs like to beat up. Have you not read the news about chavs who go round robbing people and shops at gunpoint? They're all evil! Me an my mates are all anti-chav. They all smoke cannabis and whatnot. Its revolting to see the way they abuse society today. Hope you enjoyed my slagging today!! Any time, Chav (horrible person)

You do no harm?! righttt ¬¬ I am a goth/punk and actualy i should be the one complaining about other peoples attitudes towards me but hey i am still existing. Most people judge me from my appearance and i think that's just pathetic! I think you need to work on your grammar darling, as it took me quite a while to understand the purpose of your question and the actual contents of it =] (i am not being insultive, as i am not a natural talent at english myself, but even when i text i try to use as little "slang" as possible)...
hmm anyway back to your question! I am not one of those people who judge others by the spereotype they belong to, but in this case chavs are an exclusion! XD I mean i am hatred by them, well by the ones i know of (especially the ones at my school) and most of them wish me dead! WoW must be my lucky day! But to be honest i could not care any less about what others say about me... i mean who are they for me to take their opinions in count, especially when i do not even know or specifically care about them ¬¬
So my point is that i think you should just live your life and not be troubled by the ridiculous comments people say about you as an individual or as a CHAV taken in whole! =)

Probably because they prefer people who speak the same language and to whom grammer is not an alien concept. (By the way, that's grammer - as in sentence construction, not as in your mother's mother)

its because of the fashion and hairstyles. trakkies and hoodies look terrible. simple as that. also you come across as uneducated even to school standard. you might not do any harm but if your gonna follow a particular trend which you know gets alot of stick then what do you expect?!
