Satan had freewill. Satan wanted to be God, therefore making him evil. Satan is the creator of everything evil. He has invented many evil things. Humans have freewill, they can either be tempted by Satan or resist Satan and follow God.

Satan was not created evil. He wanted to become like God and thought he was just as good as God, thus he was thrown out of heaven. This can be found in the midde of Revelation.

God created the word good, but Satan did not want to be under God. So he rebelled against God. Knowing that God would eventually defeat him, he decided to tempt man into sinning as well.

There are all kinds of beliefs and explanations about the origin, purpose or even the existence of a Satan. This is mine. Satan represents the darker side of man. Man, in my mind is a being that came into existence when some higher intelligence or "God" took a species of primate already on earth and re-engineered it into man.

Man therefore is a combination of both animal (dark side) and higher being (Godlike). It appears at least part of our purpose is to work toward increasing our "Godlike" side and diminishing our "animal like" side. Satan, in this instance represents the "call of the wild" that tempts us to the wrong side.

So, we are basically born sinners. We must work at being holy or humane or whatever words you wish to use to explain being more like the "higher beings" than animals.

No, if horny bright red naughty satan had CREATED evil, then "he", or someone or something would be able to DESTROY it. Evil as you know it is a term to define what is socially and/or morally wrong, and it has existed since forever within humans, even before all these santa-look-alike prophets writed down the bible.

--THIS IS THE RULE OF THUMB FOR EVERYBOD:Y::

James 1:13-15) . . .3 When under trial, let no one say: "I am being tried by God." For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone. 14 But each one is tried by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire. 15 Then the desire, when it has become fertile, gives birth to sin; in turn, sin, when it has been accomplished, brings forth death"

--SATAN did this to himself, NARCISSISM of the highest degree--- by a perfect rebel angel--WHO CHOSE PURPOSELY to become the worst traitor in all of history!

God does not really tempt us, He might test us. It is the free will that brought the interesting concept of choice between good and evil. I think that the perfect love comes with choice. : )

God created evil. The bible says so.

Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Lucifer was God's highest angel. He had a free will. God does not force anyone to serve him.

Lucifer took the other option. He exercised his free will. Plain and simple. But pride comes before a fall.

If God wanted automatic worshipers, he would have not given us free wills.

satan was tempted by his own pride. Pride is the biggest sin of all. You can never beat it.

peoples longings and bad intentions. no eve. no snake. why do we tend to blame woman and animals for so much evil? evil was borught about simply by the recognition that we want more, have to have it - bigger, better, more powerful. Its human nature, and it isn't a good trait. thats how we've brought about wars and hatred. lets say the garden of eden did exist- if we had all just stayed there naked, the world would be a lot better of a place.
