Is the Book of Revelation coming true? I don't really believe in certain elements of the bible, but this bit seems to be happening.

"He forced everyone to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead so that no one shall be able to buy or sell unless he has the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name, and the number of the beast is 666" This could be seen as a bard code as each one is split into 2 section by 3 long lines, each represented by the number 6. To eradicate credit card fraud, and do deliver a cash and cardless society they are already testing laser tattoo barcodes on US service men.

"When the third angel blows her trumpet, wormwood will fall from the sky wormwood will poison a third part of all the waters
and a third part of all the land, and many, many, many people will die"

The Russian translation of Wormwood is Chernobyl.

What do Christaina think, is the apocalypse a real thing and has the chain of event begun? What's next?

You'll find that a lot of Nostradamus' work can be twisted and interpreted to mean whatever the intepretor wants. I have a poor memory but I do know that I've heard and/or seen tons of literary works 'translated' to mean all sorts of things.
At the time of Jesus, there was a lot of earthquake and other massive geological events occuyring. There's a verse in Mark (13:30-?) that says 'Some of you standing here will not pass away before these things happen' Actually, I need to look up the exact verse. In a nutshell, taking into consideration what was going on in the area at the time, many believed it was the end of the world.
I was watching a history channel show just this morning about Frankenstein-the author (Mary Shelley) wrote it during the summr of 1812. Now that must have been a scary point in time! There was a massive volcanic eruption (Krakatoa) and it caused all of Europe and the eastern section of the US to have winter, all year long. It's nick-named 'the year w/o a summer'. The technology at that time was not sufficient enough to explain why. On top of that, some scientist had just discovered that dead muscle would still react when given an electrical stimulation. So, a bunch of scientists became obsessed with the idea and started holding street side demonstrations of making a decapitated animal move some limb by using electrical volt. There were a few who experimented with actual human corpses, trying to create life, or invent immortality. Can you imagine living at a time when nature was abnormal and dead things were convulsing in the streets? That would make me start wondering about 'end times'.
Throughout history, there have been unexplained phenomena and scientific advances that were still foreign to the majority. '666' according to the Greek alphabet spelled out Nero. It has also been said that Ronald Reagans name was 666 since all three of his names (middle included, of course) have six letters each. There's a theory of the Bible Code and it's letters are twisted to spell out some event or name but it's not very regular (and I would think a code would be) b/c no one can intepret a meaning before an event takes place. Also, Moby Dick was used to name people and places throghout history to show that any book of significant length can be used to find 'code words'.
There have always been wars. An interpretor usually undestands, first and foremost, that 'history repeats itself' so any future-telling piece will be vague enough to work into any given situation.

While the mark of the beast could come true, If everyone had a bar code tattooed on their right palm, it could be used in an electronic funds transfer system, A machine would read your bar code while you typed in yourPIN# this could act as a credit card check card and passport, but it would be better because it would combat fraude i.d. thsft and illegal immigration.
But wormwood is not a poison its an herb. Its used to make the Liquor absinthe. Wormwood falling from the sky would be a goood thing

This number 666 is that of the anti-christ. But we won't have the number 666 implanted in our bodies, Yes it is true that we will have chips planted in our bodies but not the # 666. This number comes from Rome, Where none other than the Pope of Rome carries. However, you are confused with this mark of the beast. It is not a social security number, or a chip surgically placed into the hand; I don't care if they tattoo you from head to toe with "666", its not gonna change what you think or believe. The Mark of the Beast is IN YOUR FOREHEAD; whats in your forehead? Your brain. This "mark" is in the minds of all those deceived who believe that the Antichrist is the true Christ. Antichrist will come in prosperously and peacefully - he's gonna be disguised as Jesus, acting like Jesus; he'll be teacher/preacher/savior.
What is 666? Which teaching seal is regarding Antichrist? The 6th.

Thats all; people make this much more complicated than it is: If only people would slow down, and read and learn in the simplicity that God teaches.
If you really want to understand the mark of the beast, here is a bit of information for you (I am a disiplined student of the manuscripts).
When you read "Count the number of the beast", that word "count" does not mean to count like 1-2-3-4 ; it means to enumerate over a long period of time, as when a rock is worn smooth by water running over it for a vast period of time. So what does that mean? It means that mark has a history, and if you check back in the beginning, you will see what the history of that mark is, and also a deeper study as to what God wants you to know about these end-times, and about the Antichrist and his entourage.
So where is the beginning of the mark of the beast? The Garden of Eden. When Cain murdered his brother and God threw him out, a mark was placed on him - the mark of his own father, the devil (yes, blood father, "sperma" in the manuscripts).
If you want to know about this mark and about who's who when Antichrist comes, check out Cain, Satans son. Oh, you think it weird that Cain is not Adams son? Check out Genesis 5:1, where the complete geneology of Adam is listed: you won't find Cain listed there, because Cain simply was not Adams son.
"Wormwood" is just another name for Satan (he has about 35 in the manuscripts)
and when it states that wormwood will fall, thats Antichrist getting booted out and onto earth - the death mentioned is spiritual death, not physcial death. People are already spiritually deader than a hammer,
but when Antichrist comes and the mass believe he is Jesus Christ, spiritual death will be in worldwide mass.

Yes, Revelation is almost fulfilled. Chernoble has nothing to do with 666. The subject is Religion in the Bible.
The mark of the religious beast is referring to organized religion. The mark on the head is what they have trained you to think, the mark on the hand is your membership number.
The people that come (out) of the great tribulation are un-numbered (no man could count- as opposed to organized religion which counts its numbers or members. If you are a Witness, you'd know about how they count their numbers at Memorial. Maybe the uncounted people that come out of the great tribulation - are atheists eh?
