This is fairly common between parents and kids at college time. It's tougher when you want to go outside your country, though. Several things come to mind:
1. Are there no colleges where you live that could prepare you for flight school? Or is there something else about the pilot question that is specific to the school you want to attend in the US?
2. Are the finances a concern? Who's paying for college?
3. If you go to school in the US, do you know anybody where you would be going? College can be an adjustment, and it's easier to visit home on weekends if you're at least in the same country. Having a nearby 'family'/'home' kind of support (even if it's not specifically family) can really help.

If you have a specific school in mind, have you corresponded with them yet? The more you find out about the place(s) you want to go, and can tell your Mom, the better your chances of changing her mind. Personally, I think it's a great idea to try a significant change like this for college, but try to be clear on all the extra difficulties and challenges you'll be handling. Also, it would be an excellent idea to really talk to your Mom and find out why she's opposed. If you can show her that you're evaluating her concerns and making plans to deal with them, she may be more willing to go along with your ideas.
Also, keep in mind that wherever you go to school and whatever you end up studying, your choices right now will probably not lock you into or out of any particular career. Our roads all take odd curves and unexpected detours; but once you know where you want to go, just keep working toward it and don't panic at the occasional setback. Good luck!
