So it seems.
Whether the central command has control of all its units, and can disentangle itself from criminal fundraising activity such as drug dealing remains to be seen.
This is also an issue in respect of splinter Republican groups.

Even so, things are looking better than they have for forty years.
(And I've heard several IRA bombs in my time. I was close enough to feel one of them.)

Sort of....apparently they aren't giving up their guns but say that they won't use them. It's a bit of progress at least. Let's hope this sticks.
