how difficult is it to change the camshaft position sensor on a 1995 ford explorer 4.0l

The cam sensor in on the camshaft synchronizer behind the intake manifold. the synchronizer drives the oil pump off the cam. it is held onto the synchronizer with 2 7/32 head screws. the synchronizer is timed like a distributor, so if it' damaged you will need to mark it and put the new one in without the engine turning over. if it does you will need a special tool to retime the synchro.

Its on the front of your motor located on your lowest pulley. It is supper easy and fast to change. If you can find it, it should take no more than five minutes to change.
