I have a heaache in my right temple and it started in my neck and moved to my temple. It hurts worse when I cough or bend over. Is this a tension headache? I have been bad about drining water the last few days. Could I be dehydrated or just tense?

i dont drink water because it is gross. i get those headaches all of the time, along with many blackouts each day. i know that it is unhealthy, but i cannot forces myself to drink water. i only get water by other things like juice and milk. and i also eat ice cubes, but other than that i dont drink water. that is really common when you are dehydrated. your blood just is thicker without the liquids, and it just makes your blood vessels like strain to get the blood moving, and the cells are not getting the fluid they need, so it causes headaches. at the base of your neck, where your skull starts is where i get alot of headaches, along with at my temples and my eyes hurt sometimes, almost like you have a fever, but it is a headache for dehydration. i suggest drinking more water, and you will start to feel markedly better. and take some tylenol!!! take it with a tall glass of water, and start drinking water. you will notice a big difference.

dehydration can cause headaches. Start drinking purified water mixed with mineral water. 50 percent water/50 percent mineral water. This will hydrate the body very quickly .

it could also be stress related or tense muscles in the neck if you do all lot of computer work. I highly recommend getting a massage treatment. The therapist would be able to guide you on what to do to prevent further headaches.

There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis,
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success proves it.
Acupuncture is the best treatment. I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.
But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it isvery strong.

Dehydration is a definite possibility. I always get headaches if I don't drink enough water. See if drinking some helps you.
