Is there anywhere in the Atlanta or Northeast Georgia area that either rents out bridal gowns or is there any bridal consignment shops? My fiancee is leaving for Iraq on June 4th, and we are getting married on June 1st, so this is very important to me! Even if i could just find someones to borrow!

Here is a listing of a BUNCH of consignment stores in Atlanta. I would find ones closest to you and start calling!

Also, David's Bridal has off-the-rack wedding dresses and they have some really reasonably priced dresses. Check them out, it certainly won't hurt!

Good luck, and congrats to both of you. I also want to say thank you to your fiancee for serving his country and keeping us free. God bless.

davids Bridal has dresses is stock, and really cheap. But the quality is not the best. I know that it is for only one day, but when you look back, ten years from now, and see the pictures, if you didnt love your dress 100% you are going to be like " what was I thinking?". A good alternative is to go to a Bridal Salon, that carries designer gowns. Sometimes they want to get rid of their samples and they give you really good discounts. A good place to go is "Bridals by Lori". It is in Atlanta and they are a huge store and they have both couture gowns and cheaper ones. They also have a website. Good Luck!

I went to David's Bridal( located all over the US) and only paid $200.00.....I took it home that day..You can also buy a used dress in the classified section of your local newspaper...bad part is that you won't be able to pick the style. Also, 9 out of 10 times the dress needs to be altered to fit your shape.....The altering can cost almost as much as the dress sometimes....If your not picky and need something cheap, then I suggest buying a dressy white skirt or dress from JcPenney's or somewhere like that...It can be as low as $30.00....Many people are skipping the fancy wedding gowns nowadays.....Besides, he'll think your beautiful no matter what you wear...Good Luck!

David's bridal is great, quick, cheap and has tons of dresses on hand, they also do the alterations right there in the store... I don't know if there is one in your area but you could google David's Bridal, i'm sure there is a place like it in your area... Also a friend of mine went to Macy's at the mall and found a georgeous white prom dress and wore it... good luck and Congrats!!!!

David's Bridal. You can walk out with your dress the same day. Now if it needs alterations....don't use David's. Go to a local seamstress for that.

hmmm I am so happy to hear that. Is it going to be a big wedding that is formal. If it is not I am sure he would be just as happy if you married him butt naked lol jk. I got married in every day clothing and I have been married 3 yrs. So hmmm I don't think you should worry about the dress. What I would be worrying about would be if I was ever going to see my husband again, and keep in mind where he is going I don't think he will Care what you have on.

David's Bridal sells off the rack dresses... and the range in prices... depending on what you want.

You may also try a local costume shop.

Depending on your size, Lane Bryant. www.lb.com has dresses available for ordering.
