How do I feed my outdoor cat without other cats, dogs, rodents, etc. coming around and being drawn to the food? I live outside of the city limits where neighborhood animals are free to roam. I don't have a problem with them now, but I'm afraid I will once I start putting cat food out. Please help with any suggestions. Thanks!

Put down a small amount at a time only when your cat is around. Take the food up at night - absolutely - or you will have coons, possums, crows, bluejays, armadillos, other neighbor cats, etc.
Or, better yet, bring your cat indoors morning and evening to feed it. Trust me it will come if there is food on a regular basis.

put down the food when both you and the cat are around. when the cat is done eating, put the food up. hopefully the cat will catch on and eat only a few times a day, rather than off and on all day.
Or you can start bringing the cat inside at night. into the garage works well. then you can put food down when you first bring them in as a reward for coming inside, and leave the food out all night.
I had an outdoor cat, and we had raccoons get into the food. the only was to keep them out of it was to bring the food inside the house, and feed the cat a little bit at a time, and make sure he didn't leave any when he was done. what he did leave attracted ants. then we stared bringing him into the garage and he loved it. all we had in the garage was a cat bed, water and food and he was happy.
good luck!

Make sure your kitty has a regular feeding time, and take up the food when he's done eating. That way the other critters can't get at his food.

Another option is to let your outside cat come inside to eat.

I can't think of any. My sister began putting food out for the stray cats in her neighborhood and now also has raccoons, squirrels and groundhogs eating the food. If you put food outside, it is going to attract lots of other animals.
