when i woke up this morning i noticed a littly spot of vomit on the floor which i cleaned up. i then looked around for more and i found one of those blue ice packs that have the gel in them that you freeze and it had been torn apart and was half empty. i have 3 cats who could've done this and i dont know which one it was. could they die from this? what should i do?

ooo. does not sound good. i would read the pack and see if it is harmful if swallowed. if it is, bring it to the vet right away. if it is not, feed it some plain foods, and wait for it to pass. good luck

Absolutely call your vet or the National Animal Poison Control Center at 888-426-4435 (there is usually a charge for this).

A table spoon of peroxide will make them throw it up. This is what people use for dogs who eat chocolate (which, by the way, is also poisonous for cats). Take your kitties to the vet IMMEDIATLY.

Take him to the vet: I could be mistaken, but I think that gel is poisonous.

The substance in those packs is toxic! PLEASE, if you love your pets take them to the Vet now and hopefully they will be ok. (kidney failure, seizures, and several other things could occur) and if you wait to long you could reach the point of no return and loose your pets.
