As a cop in a town with many illegal aliens I have seen the devastation many times. It sucks when you answer a question like this that some people think you are racist. I'm not! My wife is Mexican and I love her and her relatives. If illegal meant the people of my race I would feel just the same as I do now. But being an actual witness to the following incidents is tough. These could and do happen to legal citizens to but they pay the price whether financialy or with jail time.

I witnessed a car driving toward me on a snowy March day 3 years ago and saw the driver pull a stupid move attempting to pass a car in the snow. He lost control and slid broad side into the car in front of me instantly killing his 17 year old girlfriend, a scene that will stick with me the rest of my life. Both wer illegal, the driver of course lived and never went to court.

A probation officer was struck and killed while riding a motorcycle to work, killed by an illegal alien who fled to Mexico according to his family.

In another case I came up on a fatal accident where a car had struck a concrete divider. The car was loaded with empty beer cans and the driver was gone. A rear seat passenger remained because he was dead. He was illegal..his friends cared more about fleeing the law than they did about remaining with him.

I saw a 4 year old girl who had taken her baby sitters Coca-Cola without asking. The baby sitter, an illegal alien put a long knife across the burner on the stove and when it turned red, she removed it and pressed it on the girls lips from one side to the other causing injuries that will scar her emotionaly and physically the rest of her life. The baby sitter was caught but eventually released never to be heard from again.

I can not count the number of times that I had too handle a report that a drunken father or uncle molested a female juvenile. The common factor is that most are released by our flawed legal system and they go back home to that awful place they complain of but still love.

This does not even count the number of them that use our hospitals like convienent stores and never pay their bills because the give false information.

A friend of mine was vacationing in Mexico driving a Mo-ped when he was struck and injured by a cab driver. He was held at the hospital without being released until his insurance company paid the bill.

Negative. People you have to remember there is a difference between immigrants and illegal immigrants. Most immigrants who have come legally are hard working honest people. Anyone who comes illegally is already a criminal. Most people who are willing to break the law once, almost always end up breaking the law again.
My grandma, who is 80, lives near the visilia area. Since the 90's when immigration started getting crazy, her neighbor has depreciated, crime has gone up, drugs have gone crazy, etc... She has now had 3 cars stolen and robbed about 12 times...(This is a literal count, not an exaggeration) ALL have been illegal mexican immigrants! I live in the orange county area and I continue to see the nice neighborhoods turn into the ghetto.

To all Illegal immigrants:
Would you pay me out of every pay check you get to let me you live in your country? That is exactly what we end up doing for you!

You guys have to remember, there has to be some kind of immigration control. We can't just let everyone in the country.

Negatively. The rural area where we live, 3 single-wide trailers of illegals reside. There are 4 adults that work as farm help and the rest, 19 more - 6 adults do not work and the rest are children. The slum they have created out of 3 trailers and 6 junked vehicles, trash fire barrels etc, is bringing down property values. They do not even mow their grass in the summer time. This past summer a neighbor down the road got so sick of looking at it on his way home from work, he went and bush hogged it down.
I have not had a single positive experience with or from an illegal immigrant.

Its hard to do things with out speaking another language. I really mean that to. The labor sector in Denver is screwed. Illegals don't speak english which has cost me thousands of dollars because they would do something wrong. And then the Americans have become unionized to protect themselves from illegals taking their jobs, but now I'm getting screwed by the unionized organizations. I can't win...

Maybe a little far fetched.

minus the crime rate doubling or almost tripling... minus the increase of police activity to the houses where the illegals live showing their love for their women by beating the snot out of them... minus the fact that they have their kids at the hospitals for free, are seen by doctors for free, receive free dental care ( they realllllllllyyy need that so that might not be so bad... some nasty looking teeth in these people) minus he fact that they receive food stamps and WIC.. there is a family that needs that help that was passed over so they can have it.. Other than all that.. its been a purely positive and a pleasure to know how the illegals have affected me.

i'm hostile to hostile to unlawful immigration. in the journey that they pick to go back into the US, they favor to flow by the channels. i do not imagine this u . s . a . can arise with the money for it. If i had to flow to the united kingdom, (ah, sometime, perchance) I assume that i can't purely bypass there, get a job, lease a flat, and assume to stay there without acquiring some type of residency. There truly is not any u . s . a . which will purely throw open it really is palms for someone who has no longer lengthy previous by the acceptable channels to stay there, so why might want to u . s . a . be diverse?

No way, becouse this people come to work reaaly work no matter the pay the weather and the distances. I'm a legal citenzen since I'm born, when I was in my country I tought different forom know I thought so that they doesn't have a right to be here, the goverment should do something, they steal jobs from us, stuff like that, right know living between them I understand that that is a free word and that is the land of the freedom, and this land was founded by emigrants, And my question is what is the freedom a fragment of a sentence contained in a piece of paper call the constitution? When I saw Persuit of Hapiness I understood the real meaning of the word freedom, is not only a word is a right. So is this the freedom land why the goverment ever atack the unlegal people maybe becouse they cant attacked the black ones no more, but that is no far from the abuse that the had before agaist the black people and the represion and intimidation Do you think so?

Alot of illegals moving to my city, my neighborhood. The crime rate has risen drastically since this started. Alot of fly by night roofing & construction companies popping up everywhere in my city, making it much harder on the more reputable places that have been around forever to compete. These fly by night places hire in illegals. Yes, they put your roof on for half price as a legitimate company does, but you get no warranty, if the thing starts leaking 6 months from now good luck getting them to come out and fix it again. Chances are they wont even be in your city anymore.
Those are just a couple of issues.

I've been harrassed twice now in a public place by illegals. Both times it was so obvious that the manager of the store called the police and came over to help me before I even had a chance to think about trying to get help. Both times the men were loud, drunk, and very agressive. I no longer go shopping by myself and if I need something after dark, and my husband or one of my sons aren't available I do without.

negatively. I live in houston. My family owns a construction company. I will have you all know, that they find social security numbers and use them too work and then you get footed with the 1099's and owe the government money.

They pull knives out on people in the middle of the street, why worry about it? They don't even exist as far as the united states is concerned. No Birth Certificate or any kind of identification.

If they want to be in this country they need to do it legally--and if they are caught and have gotten here illegally, they need to be taken out of this country.
