Dear Dillingere_p,

I agree with Primo and Gordy who agrees with Primo.

Did you ever hear about when the first Cosmonauts went into space and made a statement about not seeing God out there?

A person has to open the door of his / her heart in order to be able to understand. The Good News is that we all have an open invitation.

When i recieved my spiritual awakening i encountered something i KNOW happened but for which i am inadequate to describe. i have found that only others who ALSO encountered a similar incident understand this, and we only have to look at each other when the subject comes up because the effect can be seen in our eyes...... and then the blessed tears of purity come to once-again bring us another glimpse of it.
NEVER before have i experienced anything with any sense that affected me such as this, and now i even understand "NO man can look upon the face of God and live", and for those poor, unfortunate souls who think this causes death; it does, but it is death of elements of defective character, not death of being.
That more could experience this brings an excitement, but in reality, only those deep in the darkness of self-centered, destructive thinking and actions usually have to be so touched because nothing else will serve to bring us back.
Blessings to you and all who seek, for those who shall reap this cannot imagine the possibility of a free life, and ONLY the Grace and HAND of The Most High can effect such a thing.

I agree with the latter half of this saying that says "For those who haven't seen the light, no explanation is pobble." I do not agree with the beginning of the saying that says that no explanation is necessary. Explanation is necessary in order to enlightened about any subject, not just in a religious context.

Have you seen the movie "The Matrix"? That is a good movie to explain this saying.

Once you understand something you don't need further explanation. There is no way to explain spiritual things to people that are blind to it.

Once you realize that there are two worlds here on earth...the one everyone is born into and the second one that you can only see with spiritual eyes... you can't return to your former ignorance.

exactly what it says.
those who can see understand, and those who cant see do not.
those who can see understand because they see, and those who can not see do not understand because they can not see.
no explanation is possible, because there is nothing to explain (since nothing is being seen). and those that can see need no explanation because it is self explanatory.
but it is not a matter of seeing, it is a matter of wanting to see. if one does not believe and/or try to see, then they will not see. because it cannot be shown to those who do not want to see it.
the sad thing is that those people that dont believe, dont believe because they cannot see, and they cannot see until they believe.

That is why a "believer" can talk to an atheist about his religion (the rules, beliefs etc), but they cannot express its spiritual side. If they try, it will most likely backfire, because they are talking in a dimension which the atheist has not yet experienced.

For me it is about personal experience. If you have experienced something then it becomes part of you and your knowledge. You can't explain it to anyone else. They will never understand unless they have personal experience to draw from.

That those who want to believe will and those who are sceptical will never be able to see that there may be some truth in the matter.
