no. I don't. I don't believe you can fall in love with someone when you don't know them. When you meet someone on the internet, you don't really know who they are because they could be anyone! They could be lying to you! one of my favorite lines is when there is no trust, there is no love.

It is a possiblilty. But as long as you dont get too deep into it. Whats the difference between the internet and meeting someone at the bar? Well in my opinion not much. At a bar most people are pretending to be someone they arent anyways. Although some people have a tendency to be more honest on the internet. Why lie?
Either way its a game of chance. Why not exploit every oppertunity you have? The internet is just another way to get out and meet people in my opinion.

There is something not as intimate about internet love. I'm sure that its possible and that maybe it could be the intial contact, but to have a relationship over the internet, just for me at least doesn't seem too realistic. Some may disagree though!!!

No because most people are on here because they are emotionall detached and / or distant. Very few people who frequent the internet frequent life. When it comes time to meet, you will be disappointed or they won't show up because their SCARED. The internet is a great resource tool for various things, but most love things don't work out online, but it is ok to try, you might be the exception, as is maybe 5%.

Yes, I do believe in internet love. I met my now husband in a yahoo music chat room and became friends and a year later we got married and its been 5 months now and still going strong. He was in USA and me in South Africa and he moved here for me. The thing that people get wrong about online dating is they forget that it's real and that cuation should be used just like dating in person.

Internet love is as real as you want it to
be. But as long as you get to meet
the person, too. That is the ultimate
definitve way, to know for sure.
It is a medium for anything that the
world has to offer. Some people meet
there true love, at a garbage dump.
Place is irrelevant, but timing is very
important with destiny. You can not
discard a forum, that is as powerful
and influential as the internet itself.

Nope, can't really tell a lot from words, or even on the phone. The "love" part needs to have some physical interaction and body language clues.
People will lie to your face and not hesitate, what is stopping them from embellishing the truth on the Internet?

Noooooo tried it once about 4 years ago, was a disaster she was a headcase. People often pretend to be, who they would 'like' to be on the Internet. I only date girls that I can get to know normally now and it works much better for me.

Nope, I don't believe you can fall in love with someone you've never met!

You fall in love with what you imagine them to be like not hpw they actually are and often people don't realise this until they meet!

It's all a bit wierd I think!
