I guess the best thing to do is wear a dress that covers your back.
If not, starting now, I would go to the tanning bed (once a day until Saturday), that helps dry it out. They will tell you there how long you can stay in for, depending on your skin tone. Use Sea-breeze, and Clearasil twice a day.
If you still have it on Saturday (which I am sure you will), try dabbing on a bit of concealer (lightly and the same color as your skin) and dusting it will a little tinted loose powder. Just remember to use a light color, because if you start dancing (especially slow) you don't want it to rub off on your date.
That should help a little bit. I had bacne too when I was a teenager.

Buy Neutrogena Body Acne Wash. Also, exfoliate with St. Ives or Aapri body scrub today and night before prom. Get a mom/sis/friend to dab some clearasil on the zits.
Of course, change any clothing that touches your back daily
[ no used PE shirts - wash 'em! ] and change sheets at least weekly.

You may not have enough time, but you can try tanning - it provides temporary relief. Be careful though - usually a breakout will occur a within a week or two because tanning dries your skin out and your skin overcompensates with extra oil production.
