Because I have to take the car to a DVLA testing station 20 miles from where I live on a Monday to get it checked that it is still on the road, because some stupid so and so has entered the wrong information onto their computer (presumably), and they will not re supply a new registration certificate, without which I cannot sell or even have the car on the road when the tax expires, even tho its MOT is up to date!

Calm down - it doesn't help to be so worked up. Hopefully, you can manage to sort things out. Errors such as this do happen - it just takes time, effort and patience to sort out.

Quite Right.....I think you ought to be compensated for the inconvenience to yourself and also to prevent other mistakes being made with peoples confidential information. Too much complacency by civil servants these days.

Go for it gal.

Sounds like you need to speak to them and hopefully sort it out before the stress makes you ill.
