Just apologize and accept blame (unless there is damage, then do not even talk about blame). Anything else you might do would only escalate the situation, and people can get crazy on the road.

UPDATE: When I say "accept blame," I didn't mean to imply it was your fault. Whether or not it's your fault, you should still accept blame, because they blame you and they're crazy.

unless your causing major obstruction or delaying or generally a bad driver its probably best to avoid confrontation with these people. If You feel you are causing a problem get out and learn the rules of the road.
Otherwise wind up the window turn up your favorite tune and put a smile on your face and rejoice in the fact you dont get stressed on the road!!

You can smile at them, flip them off, do what ever you want. Most of us are still pretty calm in spirit, after working 8 or more hours a day. But it takes just one bone head to set some one off.

America, does not WANT to slow down, our gas glutt shows that fact. There is some great want to get some ware in a hurry , at high speeds, and if you get in their way, you have touched their private little world. Ther fore, You have just become a candadte, for their wrath, and highly dangerious high way stunts.

I get on the high way, get the car to about 64 to 65 MPH, set the cruse control. and let Smokey deal with the idoits

just be emotionally intelligent, & don't show 'em any reaction, literally "ignore 'em", as definitely, you are gaining nothing by getting nervous or tensed due to their "irresponsible" deeds, unethically dealin with the driving rules & the simplest acts of courtesy, most of these people are psychologically unstable, or have done such barbaric actions due to life-pressure, so at the end of the day, always remember "the higher your voice, the weaker your situation"

wishing you a safe, uninterruptable trip :)

yes it was your fault. new driver's, and idiots with head up their butt, and a cell phone in ear at same time and reading news paper all while doing 65-70mph. and they wonder why the rest of us GOOD drivers are yelling at them.

Your better off ignoring them. I don't need a surprise like a gang member or any other worse category.
