To write a poetry you need some basic qualifications. You should be a good reader, good observer and should have lot of imaginations.Whatever comes into your mind write them all on a paper first.Read them carefully once or twice. You will find lot of mistakes in it and try to correct them. While correcting, you will find some suitable words which make your poetry will have rhyming and other qualifications it needs. These practise will make you a poet after some times. You need patience to wait until the dawn comes. It is up to every-ones individual opinion as to whether it is difficult to write poetry. Many different forms of writing can be interpreted as poetry regardless of whether they rhyme or not. Some forms revolve around the page in such a way hat they create an image while others appear to be a random selection of words. Shakespeare's poetry is quite different to most modern poetry that is encountered today.

Good for you! Good passion. Let me give you a short tip: Poems don't have to rhyme. Rhyming is cool, don't get me wrong, but it limits you. You can't always say what you want to say because you're frustrating yourself working within the limits of words that rhyme. Poetry is not SO difficult. Capture your feelings--your passions. . . right on down to your darkest moods, even. To extend your vocabulary, grab a dictionary and thesaurus. Keep pluggin' away and don't let the rhyming thing box you in.

Hmmm....I ADORE WRITING POETRY! It can be hard though. I want to tell you (though I am SOOO not the first person to say this), don't write a line for the sake of rhyming. If you can't think of a word that rhymes well, for the idea you want to get accross, leave your poem alone for a while. "Sacrifice the rhyme before you sacrifice the idea." Get me? I hope it helped.

Keep writing! (It's an excellent way to vent your emotions),
